Once upon a time in a land far far away;

There were a kind and peaceful people known as Loons. Loons lived all over the Earth and used a magical tool called the internet to talk to each other. The main characteristic of a Loon is their obsession for knowledge on the Billy Boyd. They all gathered ritually in the forum of his official website. They spoke of their admiration for the Billy Boyd often, and began bonding.

Then one day, there was a prophecy; a prophecy seemingly too good to be true. The prophecy said: On April the 20 & 21, of the year 2002, The Billy Boyd would make an appearance in the palace of I-CON, located on the Island of Long.

Great rejoicing began amongst the Loons. Many of them began to plan a pilgrimage. They endeavored to assemble themselves and share this great experience with each other.

The magical weekend came and went, with many "OMG's", I touched The Billy, I hugged the Billy, and I got a piece of gum from The Billy. The Loons went back to their magical internet and began to flood the forum with their stories. This was a good thing because many Loons could not behold the wonder of The Billy Boyd; and they read with eager... although somewhat jealous eyes, the stories that were pouring in. Knowledge on the Billy Boyd was at an all time high. Life was good amongst the loons.

Then another prophecy came: On May 6 of the year 2002, the I-CON forum board shall be no more. Then a great wailing went up amongst the Loons. They were distraught. Where could they find their stories? What would they do without the hundreds of OMG's, I worship the Billy Boyd, Billy Boyd is my co-pilot, I can not believe I breathed oxygen in the same room as him... stories?

The answer came when Hawk decided that she had nothing better to do with her time than to create a place to store links of these tales that were quickly becoming legend ;) . So here is that place and a list of similar places. May love and peace be restored amongst the loons, the bandwidth at the bb.net forum be reduced, may intelligent-on-topic conversations flow in the land of bb.net, and the prophet appeased.
